Upon receiving the list of enrollment, emails will be sent directly to students to ask them to consider seeing a health care provider for consultation on vaccination at their own need and cost. Please also refer to the websites of the Travel Clinic: IU Health Center, the U.S. Department of State, and the health information for travelers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

 

All participants must attend the mandatory meetings which will be held towards the end of the spring semester. During one of the meetings, there will be an orientation session related to "A Safe Trip Abroad." The following issues will be discussed: what to take, what to leave behind, precautions to take while traveling, etc. Overseas Citizens Services, U.S. Embassies and Consulates' telephone numbers will be given to students for emergency use. Health Information for Travelers to China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Thailand will also be discussed during an orientation session.
